Knowledge Exchange

LINK – strengthening professional practice and effecting change through knowledge exchange

LINK will support collaborative learning and sharing of best practice through Knowledge Exchange and capacity building of both public and private sector. LINK encourages partnerships between academia, business and communities to address real world problems in the land sector including:-

  • Developing and strengthening capacity through joint working, including the promotion of standards, twinning initiatives and the design, development and delivery of capacity building measures in partnership with professional organisations.
  • Sector analysis; evaluation and programme design, including strategic and business planning in the land sector and building financially sustainable land administration systems.
  • Technical collaboration and consultancy to improve land governance and assist citizens and communities to have better land management; access to land based services and to improve economic and social well-being.

The Knowledge Exchange stream is led by Dr Richard Baldwin, UWE Visiting Professor  – r.baldwin@iland.consulting.

  • Land market linkages and urban spatial growth
  • Sustainable local register systems
